Introduction to Committee

The Moti Singh Memorial College Has Constituted the Anti Ragging Committee in The year 2019-20. The following instructions are framed to prevent the menace of ragging and foster healthy interpersonal relations among students in the campus of Moti Singh Memorial College.
Ragging is strictly forbidden in or outside the college campus. All students shall familiarize themselves with rules / regulations / guidelines on code of conduct, anti-ragging measures and discipline College. All ‘new comers’ should attend counseling sessions organized for them from time to time by the college staff.

What is Ragging?

Ragging means display of noisy, disorderly conduct, doing any act which causes or is likely to cause physical or psychological harm or raise apprehension or fear or shame or embarrassment to a student whether he/she is a junior or fellow class mate and includes:
a) Teasing, abusing of, playing practical jokes on, or causing hurt to, such student or,
b) Asking the student to do any act or perform something which such student will not, in the ordinary course do, willingly.
Ragging is totally prohibited. If anyone indulges in ragging, he/she will be handed over to the police and the law will take its course. Students are therefore, requested to refrain from indulging
in any kind of ragging.
